Timothy Ng Named General Manager of UGWW China

UniGroup Worldwide, Inc., a global mobility management company, is pleased to announce that Timothy Ng has been named the new General Manager of its Shanghai office, effective September 1, 2011. Ng reports to Steve Lewis, Managing Director located in the regional headquarters in Hong Kong. The announcement was made by UniGroup Worldwide  President, Brian Iles from the company's St. Louis, Missouri world headquarters.

Ng will be responsible for all household goods business serviced through the five offices in China: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Guanzhou. He is also responsible for the future growth of UniGroup Worldwide Asia's regional general commodities forwarding and logistics business. Ng takes on the responsibility for building a cohesive global logistics service with the established UniGroup Worldwide UTS global network.

"There is a tremendous general commodities growth internationally, specifically in Asia," said Iles. "The addition of these services to our current UTS alliance strengthens our service delivery capability in the Pacific Rim and ensures that we will keep pace with the requirements of an expanding customer base."

Ng joined UniGroup in March, 2007, with over 20 years of experience in transportation, storage and logistics operations. Ng transferred from the Singapore office to Shanghai office in July 2010 to oversee the entire spectrum of Shanghai's operations including sales & marketing, customer service, operations, finance and administration to ensure, stability, profitability and growth of the company.
