Holiday Schedule

(November 22, 2010)

During this time of the year, it is advisable to not ship any presents in air or ocean shipments. Due to the upcoming holidays and other factors, including the recent air freight issues, there may be backlog resulting in delays of shipments.

Please consider including holiday decorations and religious material in shipments which could be sensitive to clearance in some countries.

U.S. and global ports frequently slow their handling and processing down due to vacations. Therefore, work slow downs and freight must wait in the backlog to be processed and cleared. During this time of the year, there are adjustments in the sailing schedules due to the holiday period resulting in longer transit times, limitations on equipment, and reduced ocean slot allocations.

As a reminder, it is important to hand carry important paper work, including tax records and other supporting documents. Please do not include these in your freight. Due to potential delays, any relevant paperwork should remain in your possession.

The holiday season is upon us and we want to do whatever we can to meet and exceed expectations, not to disappoint.
