Container Shortage (October 7, 2009) Do you have a shipment going to the Middle East or Far East? There continues to be a shortage of containers due to a rise in commodity exports, which take priority over household goods. In an effort to make every attempt at getting your shipment to its destination on a timely basis, please note that your initial quote request may require a change in carrier, due to container availability. Our staff is making advance bookings wherever possible to avoid delays or additional charges. If a change in carriers must be made due to last minute bookings, additional charges may be incurred due to limited availability of containers. Your assistance in alerting your move manager to a container requirement or new booking is critical during this high demand of containers.
