Brisbane, Australia Port Closure Due to Flooding (January 17, 2011)
Eastern Australia has been recently been affected by catastrophic floods and unfortunately the situation is expected to worsen resulting in severe disruption in this region. The State of Queensland has experienced damaged infrastructure, including the closure of the Brisbane port. Operations at container facilities are either severely disrupted and or suspended resulting in shipments being rerouted. If you have any shipments going to or from eastern Australia, please contact your Move Manager at World Headquarters for updates.
