Air Charter Announcement

UniGroup Worldwide UTS is excited to announce MD-11 freighter service from Shanghai, China, to MidAmerica Airport beginning in December. Located just outside of St. Louis, MO., and adjacent to Scott Air Force Base in Southern Illinois, MidAmerica Airport provides a centrally located facility in addition to cost-effective services. Initially, the flights will be scheduled as dictated by demand, but it is anticipated that the flight schedule could reach as many as three aircraft per week.

UniGroup Worldwide UTS is providing this direct service to ensure competitive pricing and a consistent flight schedule to our UniGroup agency customers in the ever growing China marketplace. As we continue to see demand and growth, consideration will be given to opening a similarly beneficial service to Europe.

Through providing direct service to China, UniGroup Worldwide UTS differentiates itself in the marketplace. By showing our customers that we are not solely beholden to third party air carriers, we provide a distinctive and powerful sales feature to an already robust international transportation product.

In addition to the freighter service, remember that UniGroup Worldwide UTS offers in-house U.S. Customs brokerage service, which provides a seamless and effective clearance process for your customers.
